I sourced images and text from thrifted magazines, then cut out, scanned, and digitally rearranged the materials to create new messages and compositions, allowing intuition to play a large role in the process. The square format of each image reminds me of an Instagram grid; the short snippets of text, motivational quotes or daily affirmations; but the subject matter is more ambiguous. I've come to see this project as a series of cryptic notes to self.
