SELF HELP is a comic series I’ve been creating over the course of five years. It’s everything the name suggests: an effort at introspection and personal growth and a commentary on — and critical engagement with — self-improvement culture. It exists somewhere between a diary and a series of fantasy excerpts. Its world, insofar as it exists in a coherent one, is a hyperbolized version of ours. Its characters are just a bit more manic than people you might know in real life, and they may or may not all be versions of me.
